Amends the definition of "parent" in Arkansas Code § 6-15-509(b)(4) to capitalize "Legal" for legal guardians and legal custodians.

Home-schooled students may participate in interscholastic activities at schools other than their resident school by mutual agreement between the resident school and the other public school.

Home-schooled students approved to participate at non-resident schools must wait 1 calendar year before competing in athletic activities, but may immediately participate in non-athletic activities and can attend practices, tryouts, and rehearsals during the waiting period.

Home-schooled students approved by July 1 of the school year they enter grade 7 may begin competing in athletic activities immediately without the 1-year waiting period.

Public schools must provide reasonable alternatives to eligibility prerequisites that home-schooled students cannot meet due to their home school enrollment, ensuring equal opportunity to participate compared to public school students.
