Amends Arkansas Code § 6-18-708 to require school districts to develop procedures for recognizing and managing sudden cardiac arrest during athletic training and physical activities, alongside existing health and safety protocols.

Requires athletics coaches to complete training every 3 years on sudden cardiac arrest and related health emergencies beginning with the 2019-2020 school year, with penalties including suspension or permanent ban from coaching for non-compliance.

Establishes new § 6-18-712 requiring the Department of Education to develop guidelines about sudden cardiac arrest symptoms including fainting, shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, racing heartbeat, and extreme fatigue.

Requires students and parents to sign acknowledgement forms regarding sudden cardiac arrest before participation in athletic activities and mandates removal from participation if a student faints or exhibits cardiac-related symptoms.

Prohibits students removed from athletic activity from returning until cleared in writing by a licensed Arkansas physician and provides liability protections for coaches and athletic staff acting in good faith.
