Replace liability waiver requirement with statement that parent or legal guardian is responsible for their child's education during home schooling.

Allow parents to give written notice of home schooling intent electronically, by mail, or in person, rather than requiring in-person delivery to superintendent.

Simplify notice requirements by removing requirement to report basic core curriculum and proposed schedule of instruction; add options to report plans for high school equivalency diploma and driver's license.

Clarify that failure to provide information about public school interscholastic activity participation does not prevent students from participating in those activities.

Prohibit Department of Education and local school districts from creating additional criteria or requiring additional information beyond what is specified in statute for home school enrollment.
