Reappropriates remaining balances from Act 100 of 2016 for the Department of Education and its divisions, effective July 1, 2017.

Department of Education receives $28,745,215 total, including $10,000,000 for Arkansas School Recognition Program, $2,220,215 for computer science initiatives, and $14,500,000 for Arkansas Better Chance Program.

Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation receives $5,000,075 for open-enrollment charter school facilities funding and debt repayment for academic facilities and equipment.

Educational Television Division, Arkansas School for the Blind, and Arkansas School for the Deaf receive combined $8,094,371 for maintenance, renovation, infrastructure improvements, and broadcast system support.

All expenditures must comply with state fiscal control laws and are limited to available State Treasury funds, with authority to supplement using grants, donations, and unobligated funds.
