Changes Arkansas Code § 6-18-222(a)(5)(A) to make notification to prosecuting authority discretionary ("may") rather than mandatory ("shall") when a student exceeds or uses 50% of allowed unexcused absences.

Removes the requirement to notify community truancy boards, making such notification no longer a required step in the process.

Corrects reference from "State Board of Career Education's" to "Career Education and Workforce Development Board's" student attendance policy.

Updates Arkansas Code § 6-18-222(a)(6)(A)(i) to specify that prosecuting authority receives "notice" and "a request for a petition" from school district or adult education program before filing truancy petitions.

Changes references from "pursuant to" to "under" when citing Arkansas Code sections § 9-27-310 and § 9-27-323 regarding truancy petitions and diversion agreements.
