Amends Arkansas Code § 5-73-103(a) to expand firearm possession prohibitions to include persons convicted of Class A misdemeanor domestic battering in the third degree under § 5-26-305

Prohibits firearm possession by individuals convicted of any misdemeanor offense in Arkansas or another state involving the use or attempted use of physical force against a family or household member as defined in § 5-26-302

Prohibits firearm possession by individuals convicted of misdemeanor offenses involving threatened use of a deadly weapon against a family or household member as defined in § 5-26-302

Maintains existing firearm possession prohibitions for persons convicted of felonies, adjudicated mentally ill, or involuntarily committed to mental institutions

Preserves exceptions for individuals authorized by the Governor or federal agencies such as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives
