Sealed stub boxes shall be delivered to the county board of election commissioners for storage instead of the county treasurer.

All election materials, stub boxes, and returns shall be delivered to the county board of election commissioners by poll workers immediately after polls close, removing the previous option to deliver stub boxes to the county treasurer.

The county board of election commissioners retains custody of and safely keeps ballot stubs in a sealed container at a secure location in the county courthouse or other county storage facility for 20 days after election certification, then for an additional 2 years.
