Repeals Uncodified Acts 2015, No. 1286, eliminating the K-12 Agriculture School Pilot Program that was previously administered by the Department of Career Education and Department of Education.

Allows public charter school authorizers to designate public charter schools as Schools for Agricultural Studies upon receipt of an application including the school's agricultural studies plan and a written review from the Department of Career Education.

Schools designated as Agricultural Studies schools are exempt from minimum student enrollment and square mileage requirements under Arkansas Code § 6-13-1501(a)(2) and § 6-13-1502.

Permits Schools for Agricultural Studies that complete three academic years of operation, meet performance standards, and have at least 350 students to petition the State Board of Education for creation of a new school district by detachment.

Requires Schools for Agricultural Studies to include in their plans details about the local agricultural industry type, how the school will address industry needs, and anticipated support from the agricultural industry.
