Permissible fireworks may be sold year-round if sold at a permanent physical location, rather than only during June 20 through July 10 and December 10 through January 5.

First-time applicants for fireworks licenses must submit an application to the Director of the Department of Arkansas State Police with information necessary to ensure public health, safety, and welfare.

A new "Retailer All-Year" license category is created for businesses selling permissible fireworks at permanent physical locations, with licenses valid from issuance through the next April 30.

Retailer All-Year license fee is set at $500.00, compared to the standard Retailer license fee of $25.00.

Shooter license fees remain at $50.00, but may be waived for professional or volunteer firefighters.
