Recognizes Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS), a disorder characterized by sudden onset of obsessive-compulsive symptoms or eating restrictions accompanied by two or more symptoms of acute behavioral deterioration or motor and sensory changes.

Recognizes Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS), a subset of PANS in children and adolescents with obsessive compulsive disorder or tic disorders that worsen following streptococcal infections such as strep throat and scarlet fever.

Proclaims October 9 of each year as PANS and PANDAS Awareness Day in Arkansas.

Encourages promotion of awareness of these disorders throughout the state, especially among healthcare professionals.

Requires the House Chief Clerk to provide a copy of the resolution to the Director of the Department of Health upon adoption.
