Exempts emergency or security records from public disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act for public school districts and schools serving K-12 students, including records concerning emergency or security plans, school safety plans, procedures, risk assessments, studies, measures, or systems.

Exempts from disclosure records or information relating to the number of licensed security officers, school resource officers, or other security personnel at K-12 schools, as well as any personal information about those individuals.

Creates similar exemptions for state-supported institutions of higher education, protecting emergency or security plans, procedures, risk assessments, studies, measures, or systems from public disclosure.

Exempts from disclosure records relating to the number of licensed security officers, certified law enforcement officers, or other security personnel employed by or contracting with higher education institutions, along with personal information about those individuals.
