Amends Arkansas Code § 17-92-102(d) to modify emergency prescription refill provisions for pharmacists when unable to obtain refill authorization from prescriber.

Changes the maximum emergency refill supply from seventy-two hours to a one-time emergency refill amount (specific quantity not detailed in amendment language).

Maintains existing conditions: prescription cannot be for Schedule II controlled substances, medication must be essential to life or therapy continuation, and pharmacist must use professional judgment regarding health consequences of therapy interruption.

Requires pharmacists to properly record the dispensing and notify the prescriber within a reasonable time after dispensing the emergency refill.
