AR SB300

Creates a four-member Voter Integrity Unit under the Secretary of State, composed of the Elections Division Director (as Chair), General Counsel, one Elections Division employee, and one State Capitol Police officer.

Authorizes the Unit to investigate all complaints of election irregularity or alleged election law violations filed with the State Board of Election Commissioners, with powers to conduct hearings, issue subpoenas for witnesses and evidence, and administer oaths.

Requires the Unit to submit investigation reports to the Secretary of State within 30 days, and the State Board of Election Commissioners to determine an official response within 30 days, including dismissal, issuance of a caution letter, or referral to state or federal prosecutors.

Mandates the Board submit a comprehensive report to the House and Senate Committees on State Agencies and Governmental Affairs within 60 days, including the complaint details, investigation results, board meeting minutes, and any prosecutor referrals.
