Reappropriates the balance of capital improvement appropriations to the State Crime Laboratory from Act 31 of 2016, effective July 1, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.

Funds may be used for maintenance, renovation, equipping, construction, acquisition, improvement, upgrade, and repair of real property and facilities of the State Crime Laboratory.

State Treasury funds may be supplemented with grants, donations, Federal funds, and the agency's unobligated cash income, but Maintenance and General Operations funds cannot be used for these capital projects.

All disbursements must comply with State Purchasing Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law, and other applicable fiscal control laws and Department of Finance and Administration regulations.

Act takes effect July 1, 2017 under emergency clause to ensure proper agency operation and administration of essential governmental programs.
