SB419 Summary

• Repeals the requirement that a member of the Arkansas Humanities Council, Inc. serve on the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board.

• Repeals the entire Delta Cultural Center National Advisory Board, which previously advised on placing the center's activities within the context of Mississippi River Delta history and development.

• Abolishes the entire Arkansas Public Art Program (Title 13, Chapter 8, Subchapter 2), eliminating all provisions related to the program's administration, advisory board, selection committees, and funding mechanisms.

• Removes the Mosaic Templars of America Center for African-American Culture and Business Enterprise Advisory Board requirement that at least one member come from each congressional district.

• Amends the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission's duties to add "and" at the end of subsection (10) and repeals provisions related to special revenue funds for the Arkansas Public Art Program.
