Persons elected or appointed to constitutional offices are prohibited from forming, registering, or holding office on more than one (1) political action committee, or acting as resident agent for more than one (1) such committee

An exception allows persons holding constitutional offices to form and manage one (1) additional political action committee if they already form, register, hold office on, or act as resident agent for a political action committee formed by a legislative caucus committee

"Constitutional office" is defined to include statewide elected positions (Governor, Secretary of State, etc.), General Assembly members, judges, prosecuting attorneys, and members of the independent citizens commission for setting salaries under Arkansas Constitution Article 19, § 31

Persons in violation on the effective date must comply by the end of the reporting period through dissolving excess political action committees, resigning from offices on excess committees, or resigning as resident agent for excess committees
