AR SJR14

Amends Arkansas Constitution Amendment 31, Section 1 to expand the maximum annual tax levy for municipal police and firefighter retirement funds from 2 mills to 4 mills on the dollar of assessed property value.

Increases the individual annual levy caps for the Policeman's Retirement Salary and Pension Fund from 1 mill to 2 mills on the dollar.

Increases the individual annual levy caps for the Fireman's Retirement Salary and Pension Fund from 1 mill to 2 mills on the dollar.

Expands the applicability of the tax authorization from only "cities of the first or second class" to include "a city of the first class, a city of the second class, or an incorporated town."

Requires voter approval at a general election before the amendment becomes part of the Arkansas Constitution.
