Senate Resolution 10 approves and confirms the appointment of Ann B. Pugh to the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Rural Endowment Fund, Inc.

The Arkansas Rural Endowment Fund was established by the General Assembly under Acts 1959, No. 27, as a private nonprofit entity providing affordable agricultural and student loans to rural Arkansans.

The Board of Directors consists of 7 members who serve as the final authority on policy matters and direction for the fund.

The fund's articles of incorporation require that new directors be approved by the Senate after their appointments.

The Secretary of the Senate shall provide a copy of the resolution to Mrs. Pugh upon adoption.
