Christopher A. Masingill was appointed by President Obama and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2010 to serve as Federal Co-Chairman of the Delta Regional Authority for six years.

As Governor Mike Beebe's Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, Masingill coordinated implementation of $3 billion in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding across 48 programs in 13 state agencies.

Under Masingill's leadership, the Delta Regional Authority leveraged $44 million in authority investments into nearly $1 billion in private and public sector investment, creating and retaining 42,000 jobs and training 13,000 workers.

The authority launched the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Initiative and the 2014 Reimagining the Delta Workforce initiative, which organized 8 state summits and invested $1.7 million into workforce development.

Masingill received the Federal Leadership in Economic Development Programs Award from the International Economic Development Council for his economic development work in the Delta region.
