AR HB1020

Establishes a maximum of 72 regular employees for the State Bank Department for fiscal year 2018-2019, including one State Bank Commissioner, two Deputy Commissioners, and 69 additional positions ranging from IT Administrator to Administrative Specialist roles.

Authorizes up to one temporary or part-time employee ("Extra Help") at rates consistent with the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act.

Appropriates $9,340,671 from the Bank Department Fund for fiscal year 2018-2019, comprising $5,624,888 in regular salaries, $1,628,365 in personal services matching, and $1,490,193 in operating expenses, plus $332,225 for conferences and travel, $160,000 for professional fees, and $100,000 for capital outlays.

Requires all fund disbursements to comply with the State Procurement Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law, Regular Salary Procedures and Restrictions Act, and other fiscal control laws of Arkansas.

Effective July 1, 2018.
