AR HB1062

Establishes a maximum of 479 regular employees for the State Department for Social Security Administration Disability Determination for fiscal year 2018-2019, across 37 position classifications ranging from DDSSA Director to Fiscal Support Specialist.

Authorizes up to 20 temporary or part-time "Extra Help" employees, with individual employment limited to 1,800 hours per fiscal year, paid at rates not to exceed those in the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act.

Appropriates $55,869,661 from federal funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, including $26,201,273 for regular salaries, $8,662,288 for personal services matching, $1,360,000 for overtime, and $3,984,400 for operational expenses.

Requires all fund disbursements to comply with state procurement law, accounting procedures, revenue stabilization law, and fiscal control regulations established by the Department of Finance and Administration.

Becomes effective July 1, 2018, and was approved on February 21, 2018.
