SB99 Summary

• Reappropriates up to $32,200,000 from Act 216 of 2017 to the Department of Finance and Administration - Management Services Division for AASIS implementation modernization costs, effective July 1, 2018.

• Funds must come from the General Improvement Fund or its successor fund or accounts, with no contracts or obligations exceeding State Treasury funds actually available.

• Allows institutions and agencies to supplement State Treasury funds with grants, donations, Federal funds, and unobligated cash income for the project.

• Requires strict compliance with State Purchasing Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law, and other applicable fiscal control laws.

• Becomes effective July 1, 2018, and was approved February 21, 2018.
