Amends Arkansas Code § 6-17-2403(c) to allow school districts to consider out-of-state teaching experience when determining teacher salaries.

Permits school districts to credit total or partial years of teaching experience in another state toward salary schedule placement.

Expands the definition of "years of service" to include years of employment in out-of-state schools in addition to existing Arkansas teaching positions.

Maintains existing provisions allowing credit for experience in Arkansas public schools, private schools, higher education institutions, and Division of Youth Services facilities.
