Amends Arkansas Code § 6-17-2403(c)(3) to allow Arkansas public schools to adopt policies recognizing out-of-state teaching experience when determining a teacher's salary schedule placement.

Out-of-state teachers must hold a valid teaching license from the state or states where they acquired their years of experience to have that experience counted.

Out-of-state teaching experience must have been gained at an institution comparable to those listed in Arkansas law in the state where the teacher holds a valid teaching license.

Modifies the definition of "years of service experience" to accommodate consideration of out-of-state teaching credentials and employment history.
