Repeals Arkansas Code § 4-75-101, which previously allowed employers to enforce non-compete agreements if they had a protectable business interest and the agreement was limited reasonably in time and scope

Preserves employers' ability to protect trade secrets under the Arkansas Trade Secrets Act, § 4-75-601 et seq.

Maintains enforceability of non-compete agreements outside employment relationships, including those ancillary to business sales, franchise agreements, and other contractual relationships under existing common law standards

Does not affect other types of employer-employee agreements including non-solicitation agreements, confidentiality agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and standard employment contract terms

Does not apply to persons holding professional licenses under Arkansas Code Title 17, Subtitle 3
