AR HB1343

Requires county clerks to publish annual appropriations ordinances and budgets on a website owned or maintained by the county, state, or Association of Arkansas Counties upon final passage.

Mandates county clerks publish annual financial reports both in a newspaper published in the county and on a website owned or maintained by the county, state, or Association of Arkansas Counties.

If no newspaper is published in the county, requires publication of the annual financial report one time in the newspaper with the largest circulation in that county.

Effective date is January 1, 2020.
