AR HB1401

Changes the public notice requirement for county intergovernmental cooperation council meetings from no later than ten (10) days to at least three (3) days before meetings.

Requires the council secretary to notify both the public and the press of upcoming meetings.

Maintains requirement that each county intergovernmental cooperation council meet at least one (1) time annually.

Ensures all council meetings remain open to the public and held in a public meeting room.

Specifies that council meetings are called by the chair unless a majority of council members petition for a meeting to be held.
