Amends Arkansas Code § 28-65-706(a) to allow courts to terminate Public Guardian for Adults guardianships according to standard procedures under § 28-65-401 et seq., rather than only when a ward is declared restored to capacity or a successor guardian is appointed.

Requires the Public Guardian for Adults to file a report and petition to terminate guardianship within 40 days after a ward's death, with specific requirements depending on whether the guardian manages the person, estate, or both.

When the Public Guardian for Adults is guardian of the estate, requires filing a final account, publishing notice of the filing, and providing a copy to the Department of Human Services before petitioning to terminate the guardianship.

Upon petition to terminate a deceased ward's guardianship, the court must conduct a hearing and may direct payment of funds for body disposition according to the ward's prior arrangements, direct payment if no prior arrangement exists, or consent to donation to medical science.

Provides that the Public Guardian for Adults and Department of Human Services are not responsible for any costs related to the disposition of the deceased ward's body.
