Applicants for a Class A commercial driver license must complete either a human trafficking prevention course administered by the Department of Arkansas State Police or an approved third party, or become a Certified Trucker Against Trafficking through an online course offered by Truckers Against Trafficking.

Applicants who complete the Truckers Against Trafficking certification must provide evidence of completion to the Department of Finance and Administration with their commercial driver license application.

Current Class A commercial driver license holders are not required to complete human trafficking prevention training when renewing their license if they have completed the training at least once previously.

The Department of Arkansas State Police is authorized to promulgate regulations for administering or approving human trafficking prevention training courses.
