AR HB1504

Amends Arkansas Code § 7-1-103(a)(8) to clarify prohibitions on electioneering by election officials and the public on election days and during early voting.

Prohibits electioneering in buildings where voting takes place and within 100 feet of the primary exterior entrance used by voters during election day and early voting hours.

Defines "electioneering" as the display of or audible dissemination of information that advocates for or against any candidate, issue, or measure on a ballot.

Lists specific electioneering activities including distributing campaign literature, soliciting petition signatures, soliciting contributions, displaying candidate names or likenesses, displaying ballot measure information, and disseminating buttons, hats, signs, or stickers containing campaign information.

Excludes from the definition of electioneering a candidate's self-identification presentation under Arkansas Constitution Amendment 51, Section 13, and the display of ballot measures as required under § 7-5-202.
