AR HB1524

Authorizes the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners to approve chiropractic student preceptorship programs established by accredited chiropractic colleges.

Allows final-phase chiropractic students from Council on Chiropractic Education-accredited colleges to practice under direct, on-site supervision of a licensed chiropractor in this state.

Requires the board to establish rules governing program approval, student eligibility, application processes (which may include application fees), student activities and scope of practice restrictions, and student identification.

Mandates that preceptorship programs are not considered approved until the chiropractic college receives a written letter of approval from the board.

Requires all student activities and duties in the preceptorship program to occur under direct, on-site supervision of a chiropractor.
