State committee members shall be elected in accordance with respective political party rules, and caucuses for recommending state committee members must be held at a definite time and place announced publicly by the convention's temporary chair.

County committee members and county convention delegates shall be elected in accordance with respective political party rules rather than through specific statutory methods, allowing parties flexibility in their procedures.

Notification timeline for filling nomination vacancies due to death or refusal is extended from 5 calendar days to 10 calendar days, and conventions to fill vacancies must be conducted in accordance with political party rules.

Vacancies in candidacy for unopposed preferential primary candidates due to death or serious illness shall be filled within 10 calendar days in accordance with respective political party rules, with ballot placement determined by timing relative to the primary election date.
