AR HB1750

Adds Arkansas Code 27-65-146 requiring the Director of State Highways and Transportation to provide a comprehensive report to all General Assembly members at the beginning of each regular session and fiscal session.

Director must identify the 10 most congested routes in urban areas and 10 most congested routes in rural areas, with "congested route" defined by specific vehicle traffic count thresholds (9,000+ for rural two-lane, 13,000+ for urban two-lane, 50,000+ for four-lane, 80,000+ for six-lane).

Report must include for each county the 5 locations with the highest number of vehicle accidents and 5 locations with the highest number of fatal vehicle accidents.

Director must provide state and federal highway expenditures per person (including discretionary funds) for each congressional district over the preceding 10 years and the number of miles of state highway system in each congressional district.

Report must show expenditures per congressional district of state and federal highway funds (including discretionary funds) used for preservation of the state highway system.
