Ms. Hazel Bullock was born in Conway, Arkansas on April 9, 1919, to Lillie and Clarence Sutton.

Graduated from Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in Little Rock in 1937; earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Philander Smith College in 1941; and completed a master's degree in education from the University of Arkansas in 1955.

Served as an educator in Arkansas for 47 years, teaching at Pine Street School in Conway (5 years), Bradley County High School in Warren (6 years), Lincoln High School in Fort Smith (10 years), Central High School in Little Rock (15 years), Shorter College in North Little Rock (6 years), and Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock (5 years).

Active member of Miles Memorial Methodist Church, National Alumni Association for Philander Smith College, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated with over 75 years of membership.

The House of Representatives celebrates Ms. Bullock's 100th birthday and commends her for her contributions to the State of Arkansas, with a copy of the resolution to be provided by the Chief Clerk of the House.
