Amends Arkansas Code § 14-20-108(e) to add alternative procedures for levying volunteer fire department dues.

Allows municipal governing bodies to bypass a special election if an attested petition is filed with the city or town recorder and signed by a majority of registered voters in the fire department district who voted in the immediately preceding general election.

Permits dues to be levied by municipal ordinance after holding a public hearing on the issue, when the petition requirement is met.

Requires municipal governing body review and approval or disapproval of any annual dues that exceed $100 per residence or business with an occupiable structure.
