Removes the requirement that certified registered nurse anesthetists work "under the supervision of" a physician, dentist, or other authorized person when administering anesthetics.

Changes the standard to require coordination "in coordination with, but not necessarily in the presence of" a licensed physician, licensed dentist, or other person lawfully entitled to order anesthesia.

Authorizes certified registered nurse anesthetists to order other nurses to administer preoperative and postoperative drugs in connection with anesthetic or operative procedures within their scope of practice.
