Cultivation facilities are prohibited from advertising to the public but may market directly to dispensaries through non-public means.

Dispensary advertising must not contain deceptive statements, content targeting children (cartoon characters, toys), encouragement of intoxication, or displays of consumption, and must include at least one required warning statement about qualified use, pregnancy/breastfeeding risks, FDA approval status, or vehicle operation safety.

Dispensaries cannot place advertisements within 1,000 feet of schools or daycare centers, on public transit, or on publicly owned property, and television/radio/print/internet advertising is restricted unless no more than 30% of the audience is under 18 years old.

Cultivation facilities and dispensaries are limited to three signs visible from public right-of-way, each not exceeding 36 square feet, and signs cannot display cartoon characters, toys, crosses, caduceus symbols, or other images associated with medicine or pharmacy or targeting children.

Coupons, rebates, and promotions for medical marijuana purchases are prohibited except as part of approved compassionate care plans submitted with license applications.
