Mountain View Lady Yellow Jackets won the 2019 Class 3A girls state basketball championship, defeating Atkins Lady Red Devils 59-48 at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Team avenged their loss from the 2018 Class 3A state championship game exactly one year prior.

Senior Kaley Shipman was named All Tournament Team Most Valuable Player and All State; sophomore Aubrey Isbell was named All Tournament Team and All State; sophomore Chaelann Vickers was named All Tournament Team.

This is the Lady Yellow Jackets' second state title overall and their first state title since 2011.

The Senate congratulates the team members and will present a copy of the resolution to Athletic Director Matt Sullivan.
