Proclaims Friday, January 25, 2019, as "Arkansas PTA Day" in recognition of parent-teacher association efforts across the state.

Acknowledges the National Parent Teacher Association, founded February 17, 1897, by Alice McLellan Birney and Phoebe Apperson Hearst.

Recognizes research showing students with engaged parents earn higher school scores and are more likely to pursue postsecondary education.

Commends Arkansas parent-teacher association units for collaborating with school administration, superintendents, principals, teachers, and staff on goals supporting student success and school improvement.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Ms. Shelly Anderson, President of the Arkansas PTA, upon adoption.
