AR HB1139

Amends Arkansas Code § 23-61-1111 to designate all working papers, recorded information, documents, materials, and copies from audits, examinations, investigations, or inspections by the State Insurance Department as confidential and exempt from the Freedom of Information Act of 1967.

Prohibits subpoenas of audit and inspection materials related to embalmers, funeral directors, cemeteries, burial services, and burial associations.

Restricts public disclosure of audit and inspection materials by department staff or any other person for the duration of the audit, examination, investigation, or inspection.

Requires non-department staff recipients of audit and inspection materials to sign written agreements to maintain confidentiality of the information.
