Permits commitments to the Division of Correction to provide for either judicial or administrative transfer to the Division of Community Correction.

Authorizes the Director of the Division of Correction to determine administrative transfers of inmates to the Division of Community Correction in accordance with Board of Corrections rules and procedures.

Allows courts to indicate on sentencing orders whether the Division of Correction may or may not administratively transfer statutorily eligible inmates to community correction.

Extends judicial or administrative transfer eligibility to inmates committed under probation revocation and Community Punishment Act provisions.

Clarifies that the Division of Correction retains legal custody of all inmates transferred to community correction unless altered by court order.
