AR HB1327

Amends Arkansas Code § 5-73-120(c) to add an exception allowing current or former district court judges, circuit court judges, Court of Appeals judges, and Supreme Court justices to carry concealed handguns in places where carrying would otherwise be prohibited, provided they have a valid concealed handgun license.

Modifies Arkansas Code § 12-15-202(d) to include current or former judges and justices in the list of persons eligible to carry concealed handguns and exempt them from prohibitions and limitations under § 5-73-306.

Adds new subsection (f) to Arkansas Code § 12-15-202 establishing eligibility requirements for judges and justices to carry concealed handguns, including: not being prohibited under federal law from receiving or possessing a firearm, and not being under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating/hallucinatory drugs or substances.
