Requires healthcare insurers offering health benefit plans in Arkansas to provide coverage for positron emission tomography (PET) scans to screen for or diagnose cancer in patients with a prior history of cancer upon physician recommendation.

Defines "health benefit plan" to include individual, group, blanket plans, indemnity and managed care plans, and state/public school employee health plans, while excluding dental-only, vision-only, disability income, credit insurance, and workers' compensation plans.

Defines "positron emission tomography" as an imaging test using radioactive substances to visualize and measure metabolic processes to reveal how tissue and organs are functioning.

Establishes that PET scan benefits are subject to the same health benefit plan provisions that apply to other covered services, including any applicable copayments, deductibles, or other plan limitations.

Applies to healthcare insurers including insurance companies, hospital and medical service corporations, and health maintenance organizations subject to Arkansas insurance laws.
