Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy shall conduct an evaluation of licensure fees related to physical therapy practice, including the license by reciprocity fee, and restructure the fees.

The evaluation must include a fiscal impact statement, information about how licensure fees are used, and a comparison of physical therapy licensure fees in surrounding states.

The board shall report findings and recommendations for legislative or rule changes to the Legislative Council or appropriate subcommittee.

If rule changes are recommended, the board must promulgate necessary rules and file the final rule with the Secretary of State by December 31, 2021, or as soon as practicable after Legislative Council approval under § 10-3-309.

The board must file proposed rule changes with the Legislative Council sufficiently in advance of December 31, 2021, to allow consideration for approval before that date.
