AR HB1654

Amends Arkansas Code § 1-4-133 to require school superintendents, building administrators, college officials, and state agency administrators to prominently display durable posters or framed copies of the national motto "In God We Trust" in conspicuous locations when funds are available.

Posters must be at least 11 inches by 14 inches, display the motto in large readable font as the central focus, include an accurate representation of the United States flag beneath the motto, and include an accurate representation of the Arkansas state flag.

Requires displays in all public institution of higher education libraries and classrooms, elementary and secondary school libraries and classrooms, and all public buildings or facilities maintained or operated by state taxpayer funds.

Specifies that posters and copies must be either donated or purchased solely with funds from voluntary contributions to local school boards, local building governing entities, or the Building Authority Division.
