School districts must notify the prosecuting authority when a student has relocated to a county in another judicial district under Arkansas Code § 6-18-222(a)(5).

Prosecuting authorities may file a motion to transfer a family in need of services case if they receive notice of relocation or information that the student has relocated to another judicial district and know the student's new address under Arkansas Code § 6-18-222(a)(6).

Adults or family members who file a family in need of services petition must file a motion to transfer the case if the juvenile has relocated to another judicial district and they know the juvenile's new address under Arkansas Code § 9-27-307(b)(1).

The bill was approved on April 21, 2021, and applies to venue provisions under the Arkansas Juvenile Code of 1989.
