HB1905 Summary

• Amends Arkansas Code § 5-14-112 to redefine indecent exposure as exposing sex organs with purpose to arouse or gratify sexual desire in public places or under circumstances likely to cause affront or alarm

• Adds a second category of indecent exposure for knowingly exposing sex organs to a person of opposite biological sex in public or under similar offensive circumstances

• Establishes enhanced penalties: Class A misdemeanor for first three convictions, Class D felony for fourth or fifth conviction within 10 years, and Class C felony for sixth and successive convictions within 10 years

• Provides exemption allowing women to breastfeed in public places or where other individuals are present without violating indecent exposure laws
