• Commemorates the 50th anniversary of the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), established by Executive Order in Jefferson, Arkansas in 1971 as part of the FDA to ensure consumer protection from toxic chemicals and drugs.

• NCTR operates over 1 million square feet of facilities with 123 laboratories across 30 buildings, employs 664 workers across 19 Arkansas counties, and generates approximately $65 million annually into local and state economies.

• The FDA oversees more than $1 trillion in consumer goods annually, including $466 billion in food sales, $275 billion in drugs, $60 billion in cosmetics, and $18 billion in vitamin supplements.

• In 2011, the FDA and State of Arkansas established a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for collaborative partnership, renewed in 2016 for another five years, which facilitated NCTR's provision of critical COVID-19 testing equipment to the Arkansas Department of Health.

• Directs that upon adoption, a copy of the resolution be provided to the Arkansas Congressional Delegation by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives.
