Requires each fire protection district to maintain an accurate map certified by the mayor or county judge of their jurisdiction.

Fire protection district maps must comply with Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Office guidelines and be transmitted annually and upon any changes.

Maps must be maintained by the Geographic Information Systems Office to assist the Arkansas 911 Board and incorporated into next generation 911 by January 1, 2022.

Quorum courts must establish fire protection district service areas not exceeding five miles from each fire station.

Fire protection districts created after January 1, 2021, cannot include areas within municipalities that have adopted fire protection ordinances, unless waived by majority vote of the municipality.
