• Changes terminology throughout Title 12 from "medical facility or" to "licensed healthcare provider" to standardize language and clarify that healthcare providers conduct examinations for sexual assault victims.

• Amends child maltreatment investigation provisions to clarify that investigations apply when alleged offenders are "fictive kin" and not living in the home with the victim, and updates language regarding information releases to government entities.

• Corrects references in child maltreatment reporting statutes (§§ 12-18-620, 12-18-710, 12-18-909, 12-18-910) to specify "federal, state, or local government" entities with need for child protection information.

• Makes technical corrections to provisions on pregnant inmate restraint (§ 12-32-102), solitary confinement of minor inmates (§ 12-29-118), jail personnel compensation (§ 12-41-505), and military court process violations (§ 12-64-518).
